About the Role

Every day will bring new learning opportunities – both in the core shed and in the field. You’ll be contributing to exploration activities that matter.

You will:

🔹 Log drill core and cuttings with accuracy and consistency

🔹 Maintain and manage geological databases

🔹 Assist with field mapping, sampling and geological observations

🔹 Support senior geologists with interpretation, preparation and daily activities

You’ll walk away with a strong foundation in real exploration geology – the kind you can’t learn in a classroom.

Who You Are

You don’t need years of experience. You need passion, drive, and the right attitude.

You’ll succeed here if you are:

✔ Degree-qualified in Geology (minimum)

✔ Early career (0–2 years’ experience)

✔ Honest, reliable and motivated

✔ Living within ~1 hour of site to support safe daily travel and work life balance

The Practical Details

📍 Location: Kilmore & Sunday Creek, VIC

🗓 Roster: Monday – Friday (5:2), typically 8am – 4pm with flexibility as needed

📝 Contract: 2-year fixed term, full-time

👤 Reports to: Senior Exploration Geologist / Exploration Manager

📅 Start date: January 2026
