🌟 Truck Driver – Keep the core moving from site to lab

We’re looking for a switched-on driver to keep drill core, samples and supplies flowing between Sunday Creek, our Kilmore core shed and the Bendigo assay lab.

Your runs keep our drilling program moving, our geologists supplied, and our results landing on time.

Drill core doesn’t deliver itself. As our Truck Driver, you’ll be the link between site, the core processing facility and the assay lab – making sure samples, supplies and consumables move on time, every time. You’ll work alongside drill crews, field assistants, geologists and supervisors as part of the Exploration team, splitting your week between Sunday Creek and our Kilmore core shed.

What You’ll Drive
🔸 Daily core runs from Sunday Creek to the Kilmore core processing facility
🔸 Weekly assay sample deliveries to the On Site Laboratory in Bendigo
🔸 Material runs across Melbourne and Bendigo for pallets, core trays, calicos and consumables
🔸 Forklift operations at site and shed – loading, unloading, stacking, strapping and cataloguing pallets and core
🔸 Daily pre-start inspections on truck and forklift, plus load restraint and housekeeping
🔸 Warehousing and retrieval of historic core and pulps for geologist review

Who You Are
You’re a self-starter who can run your own day. You take pride in doing things properly – straps tight, paperwork in order, technology updated & accurate, gear clean and ready. You enjoy the rhythm of a regular run but stay sharp when plans change, and you back the people around you to get the job done.
 
Your Background
✔ Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence – manual
✔ Current WorkSafe Forklift Licence
✔ Previous machinery experience and load restraint know-how
✔ Comfortable with basic written documentation (pre-starts, dispatch records)
✔ Comfortable with technology and tablet-based systems to support completion of work tasks

Required checks:

• Field-based medical
• Valid HR Truck Licence and Forklift Licence
• Valid Driver’s licence (manual required)
