What a fantastic day the Southern Cross Gold team had in Melbourne at last week’s AusIMM International Women’s Day event!
We joined 250 attendees to acknowledge and celebrate women in the resources industry and hear the inspirational address by keynote speaker Lydia Williams. Lydia made history as the first Aboriginal goalkeeper for Australia’s Matildas, earning 138 caps and representing her country as a two-time Olympian. She is also the author of two children’s books, Saved! and Goal!, which celebrate themes of friendship, sport, and teamwork.
We’re so proud that over half SXGC’s team are women as we continue to make our workplace equitable for all and reflect our wonderful local community.
