Did you know our wombat neighbours can suffer from mange? The skin disease is caused by parasitic mites and without treatment, mange is always fatal.

SCGC is working with volunteer-lead organisation Mange Management to assist affected wombats on our land. We're using the burrow flap method which delivers medication to the wombat's back as they enter and exit their burrows. Once a wombat is treated we continue to monitor their health.
